I was born and raised in Reno, where I have lived my whole life. I went to undergraduate school at the University of Nevada and law school at the University of Notre Dame. I have also received formal training in mediation at the ADR Dispute Resolution Center in Boulder, Colorado. Before becoming an attorney in 1988, I managed a restaurant in Reno, and later worked as a staff assistant for Senator Paul Laxalt in Washington, D.C.
I practice primarily in the area of personal injury and mediation advocacy. Before resorting to litigation, other alternative approaches toward resolving legal disputes, such as mediation and arbitration, are always explored with the client before a lawsuit is filed. Even if a lawsuit is filed, these options are always left open to the client. If I am your attorney, the insurance company will deal directly with me, so that you can focus on getting better, and not worry about the legal aspects of your case.
I am always available to answer any questions about the legal process and how it affects your case.
